Career and Technical Education (CTE) prepares students with technical, academic and employability skills for success in the workplace and in further education.

The Shasta-Trinity Regional Occupational Program (STROP) is a partnership between California Career-Technical Education (CTE) and Northern California high school districts that have chosen to partner with NSA.

High school students from partner districts may choose from a variety of Career-Technical classes:
  • Automotive Technician
  • Administration of Justice
  • Careers with Children
  • Computer Networking & Repair
  • Cosmetology
  • Firefighting
  • Public Safety
  • Restaurant Careers

Northern Summit Academy students have been given the opportunity to participate in the pathways provided by ROP.

~Students must be in 11th grade to apply for all pathways.
~Students must carry a C or better in all classes with no D’s.
~Students must have 95% attendance at NSA.
~If the student is interested in Cosmetology this program starts the summer before their senior year.
