Northern Summit Academy Shasta

The Northern Summit Academy-Shasta does not discriminate on the basis of the characteristics listed in Education Code section 220, including actual or perceived  disability, color, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, nationality, national origin, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or any other characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crimes set forth in Penal Code section 422.55 or association with an individual who has any of the aforementioned characteristics [Ref. Education Code Section 47605(d)(1)] or any other legally protected category in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. The Executive Director has been designated to handle inquiries regarding the non-discrimination policies.
